Supporting program
According to the butterfly effect, in complex systems even slight changes in the initial situation - e.g. the flap of a butterfly's wings at the other end of the world - can trigger a chain reaction that turns everything upside down. The radio play Butterflies by author Annette Lory and musician Nigel Hilbourne interweaves the fates of people who meet seemingly by chance on a sunny morning in the Old Botanical Garden. But the idyll is deceptive - the events run more and more towards an ominous end.
