For 30 years, Schorsch Kamerun has been the head of the avant-garde punk band Die Goldenen Zitronen, which is still considered one of the most influential bands in Germany. In addition, the punk with the nicest manners is also extremely successful as an audio book author, solo musician, club operator and jack-of-all-trades at the theater. As a director, he stages productions on the major stages of the German-speaking world, such as the Schauspielhaus Zurich, the Deutsches Schauspielhaus or the Munich Kammerspiele.
